One of the most stunning events to capture in Alaska happened just a few nights ago! We were lucky to capture the Northern Lights as they danced right above our log home and cabins! You never know what you will experience when you take a trip to our great state! We have seen bears, moose, cranes, eagles, ducks, grouse, and the Aurora Borealis right in our own backyard! Take a look at some of our pictures we captured that night. March and September are the peak months to capture this light show. Which can give our winter renters a real treat. Though the Aurora Borealis is unpredictable, Alaska is one of the places you can experience this phenomenon. In the winter you can also access cross-country trails, go ice skating, or join some of the Kenai Peninsula’s amazing winter festivals.
